The (online) meeting started with a "tour de table", where partners could present each other and know more about the team members involved in the project. We made an overview of the project vision and goals, discussing the project implementation and defining priorities for the upcoming activities.
An amazing group of people that will ensure INVENTHEI's goals met in Porto, during the BIN@Porto conference, to have its first on-site meeting.
As part of the innovation days of INVENTHEI, Valahia University of Targoviste as conducted this activity which is part of our "business pillar" - Learning and Collaboration.

It was on March 4th that the opening session of another edition of LGP – Linking Great Partners took place, a curricular unit rich in content, areas of knowledge and special participations.

The central event of the Senior Innovation Lab took place on the University of Santiago de Compostela, workday that is part of the INVENTHEI project (EIT - HEI Initiative). This event featured the contributions of two international experts, such as Elísio Costa from the University of Porto and Maria Carmen López Pérez de Balidea, invited through the Spanish Red Cross Chair to improve the quality of life of the elderly.
In addition, students and teachers had the opportunity to present the innovative proposals and solutions they have designed in recent months and discuss them with industry experts at #InventheiCafé.

📃 INVENTHEI presented the publication "RE-INVENTING HEIS TO ENHANCE STUDENT INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS" on #edulearn22 conference, held by The International Academy of Technology, Education and Development (IATED) on the 4-6th of July. The publication focuses on the results from the Learning and Mentoring activities of INVENTHEI project phase 1.

“By 2025 a critical mass of highly educated young entrepreneurs and innovators will be trained by the participating higher education institutions, contributing to the emergence of highly dynamic research and innovation ecosystems - innovation districts - favouring the setup or inshore of knowledge-intensive companies on cutting edge technologies, value added products and services, and innovative business models in the manufacturing and health domains”
HEIs as leading-edge anchors to innovation districts, clustering companies and connecting with start-ups and society, business incubators and accelerators.
IVAP built around 3 dimensions: Learning and Mentoring programmes (education pillar), Learning and Teaching structures (innovation pillar) and Learning and Collaboration (business pillar).
Build on existing practices, knowledge and research facilities to guarantee a critical mass of highly educated young innovators and entrepreneurs and foster a European Network of innovation-driven research ecosystems. Methodology inspired by the “Lean start-up” will be used for the definition and implementation of the Innovation Vision Action Plan.
